The team of staff at Aurillac Tourist Information Office attaches great importance to fulfilling our missions that include raising the profile and tourism appeal of Aurillac and the surrounding area (Communauté d'Agglomération du Bassin d'Aurillac) and delivering the highest level of satisfaction for our customers and partners in the tourism industry throughout the area. 

 

Aurillac Tourist Information Office was awarded category III accreditation on 1 January 2014 and we are a member of the network of French Tourist Information Offices.

As part of our commitment to providing a quality service for our visitors and partners, we undertake to:

- Provide reception and information areas that are easily accessible

- Facilitate visitors’ requirements

- Have seating available for visitors

- Provide our visitors with free of charge information on local tourist attractions free of charge

- Offer every user up to one hour of free WiFi access per day

- Present and display our opening times in at least two foreign languages

- Be open at least 120 days a year including Saturdays and Sundays during peak seasons in holiday periods or for special events

- Reply to mail from visitors all year round

- Provide a permanent reception service by staff who can speak at least one foreign language

- Ensure that tourist maps, local maps and tourist guides are available in paper versions

- Provide access to our bilingual website adapted for access using mobile media

- Provide paper copies of the following tourist information translated into at least one foreign language:

* all ranked and listed tourist accommodation with at least the name of the establishment and contact details including the address, Email address, website, telephone number and ranking

* local monuments and other cultural, natural or leisure tourist attractions including admission fees, public opening periods and times, address, website and telephone number

* local events and festivities

* emergency telephone numbers

- Update our tourist information every year

- Display emergency numbers so they can be seen from outside the building

- Constantly update information and data about the tourism offer for the geographical area that we cover

- Deal with customer complaints and measure customer satisfaction

- Respect the criteria of the Tourism Quality accreditation, “Qualité Tourisme

- Ensure that a tourist information officer is on hand for visitors

- Guarantee that all information on local tourist attractions is reliable and up-to-date

 

The team at Aurillac Tourist Information Office is committed to constantly improving the quality of the offer, services and information that we provide to ensure that our customers receive the quality of service that they expect. We are actively working towards qualifying for the Tourism Quality accreditation “Qualité Tourisme” for 2019-2020.
