The Alpacas of the Paneterie and the A.S.S.T.E.Q spinning mill

Our Alpaca farm and spinning mill is located in the heart of the Xaintrie Noire, in Corrèze, a region on the border with Cantal. We are located just 35 minutes from Aurillac and 20 minutes from Laroquebrou.

Don’t hesitate to come along and discover our herd of alpagas, with their gentle eyes and enchanting smile. A fun afternoon out for visitors of all ages, and at feeding time, you will be able to get close to the animals. During your visit you will learn all about how the animals’ magnificent wool, otherwise known as "the fibre of the gods", is transformed and you will attend a live demonstration of the art of spinning. Our spinning mill, with a dozen machines, is the only one in France exclusively used to process alpaca fibre into yarn and felt. At the end of the visit, pop into our farm shop. Our selection of 100% Alpaca products make ideal gifts for family and friends or why not treat yourself to something special.
